성경말씀: 마태복음 4:17-22

17 이 때부터, 예수님께서 “회개하라. 하늘 나라가 가까이 왔다”라고 외치며 전도를 시작하셨습니다.
18 예수님께서 갈릴리 호숫가를 거니시다가 두 형제, 베드로라고 하는 시몬과 그의 동생 안드레가 호수에 그물을 던지는 것을 보셨습니다. 그들은 어부였습니다.
19 예수님께서 그들에게 말씀하셨습니다. “나를 따라오너라. 내가 너희를 사람을 낚는 어부로 삼겠다.”
20 그 즉시, 시몬과 안드레는 그물을 버려 두고 예수님을 따랐습니다.
21 예수님께서는 계속 거니시다가, 또 다른 두 형제, 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그의 동생 요한이 배 안에서 아버지 세베대와 함께 그물을 수선하고 있는 것을 보았습니다. 예수님께서 그들을 부르셨습니다.
22 그들도 그 즉시, 배와 아버지를 버려 둔 채, 예수님을 따랐습니다.

17 From then on Jesus began to preach, "Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near."
18 One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers - Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew - throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living.
19 Jesus called out to them, "Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!"
20 And they left their nets at once and followed him.
21 A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too.
22 They immediately followed him, leaving the boat and their father behind.

성경말씀: 이사야 35:1-10

1 광야와 메마른 땅이 기뻐하며 사막이 백합화 같이 피어 즐거워 하며
2 무성하게 피어 기쁜 노래로 즐거워하며 레바논의 영광과 갈멜과 사론의 아름다움을 얻을 것이라. 그것들이 여호와의 영광 곧 우리 하나님의 아름다움을 보리로다.
3 너희는 약한 손을 강하게 하며 떨리는 무릎을 굳게 하며
4 겁내는 자들에게 이르기를 굳세어라, 두려워하지 말라, 보라 너희 하나님이 오사 보복하시며 갚아 주실 것이라, 하나님이 오사 너희를 구하시리라 하라. 5 그 때에 맹인의 눈이 밝을 것이며 못 듣는 사람의 귀가 열릴 것이며
6 그 때에 저는 자는 사슴 같이 뛸 것이며 말 못하는 자의 혀는 노래하리니 이는 광야에서 물이 솟겠고 사막에서 시내가 흐를 것임이라.
7 뜨거운 사막이 변하여 못이 될 것이며 메마른 땅이 변하여 원천이 될 것이며 승냥이의 눕던 곳에 풀과 갈대와 부들이 날 것이며
8 거기에 대로가 있어 그 길을 거룩한 길이라 일컫는 바 되리니, 깨끗하지 못한 자는 지나가지 못하겠고 오직 구속함을 입은 자들을 위하여 있게 될 것이라. 우매한 행인은 그 길로 다니지 못할 것이며
9 거기에는 사자가 없고 사나운 짐승이 그리로 올라가지 아니하므로 그것을 만나지 못하겠고 오직 구속함을 받은 자만 그리로 행할 것이며
10 여호와의 속량함을 받은 자들이 돌아오되 노래하며 시온에 이르러 그들의 머리 위에 영영한 희락을 띠고 기쁨과 즐거움을 얻으리니 슬픔과 탄식이 사라지리로다.

1 Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses.
2 Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy! The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon. There the Lord will display his glory, the splendor of our God.
3 With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees.
4 Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”
5 And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf.
6 The lame will leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will sing for joy! Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams will water the wasteland.
7 The parched ground will become a pool, and springs of water will satisfy the thirsty land. Marsh grass and reeds and rushes will flourish where desert jackals once lived.
8 And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there.
9 Lions will not lurk along its course, nor any other ferocious beasts. There will be no other dangers. Only the redeemed will walk on it.
10 Those who have been ransomed by the Lord will return. They will enter Jerusalem① singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness. / ①Hebrew Zion

성경말씀: 요한복음 15:5-8

5 “나는 포도나무요, 너희는 가지다. 사람이 내 안에 있고 내가 그 안에 있으면, 그는 열매를 많이 맺는다. 그러나 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무것도 할 수 없다.
6 누구든지 내 안에 있지 않으면, 그 사람은 꺾여서 말라 버리는 가지와 같다. 사람들이 그 마른 가지를 주워다 불에 던져 태워 버릴 것이다.
7 너희가 내 안에 있고 내 말이 너희 안에 있으면, 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하여라. 그리하면 너희에게 이루어질 것이다.
8 너희가 열매를 많이 맺어 내 제자인 것을 나타내면 이것으로 내 아버지께서는 영광을 받으신다."

5 "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
6 Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.
7 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!
8 When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father."

성경말씀: 사도행전 26:24-32

24 바울이 이런 식으로 변명하자, 베스도가 바울을 향해 큰소리로 “바울아, 네가 미쳤구나. 너의 많은 학식 때문에 네가 미쳐 버렸다”라고 말했습니다.
25 그러나 바울은 이렇게 대답했습니다. “베스도 각하, 저는 미치지 않았습니다. 제가 드린 말은 다 사실입니다. 전부 맑은 정신으로 하는 말입니다.
26 아그립바 왕이 이 사실을 알고 계시므로제가 거리낌없이 말씀드릴 수 있었던 것입니다. 이 일은 어느 한 구석에서 일어난 일이 아니기 때문에 어느 하나도 왕이 모르실 리가 없다고 저는 확신합니다.
27 아그립바 왕이시여, 예언자들의 말을 믿으십니까? 믿으시는 줄 압니다.”
28 그러자 아그립바 왕이 바울에게 말했습니다. “그토록 짧은 시간에 나를 설득하여 그리스도인이 되게 할 수 있다고 생각하는가?”
29 바울이 대답했습니다. “짧은 시간이든 긴 시간이든 왕뿐만 아니라 지금 제 말을 듣고 있는 모든 사람들이 이렇게 결박된 것 말고는 저처럼 되기를 하나님께 기도합니다.”
30 그러자 아그립바 왕과 베스도 총독과 버니게를 비롯해서 그들과 함께 앉아 있던 사람들이 다 일어났습니다.
31 그들은 그 방을 나갔습니다. 그들은 서로 이야기하면서 “이 사람은 사형을 당하거나 감옥에 갇힐 만한 일은 하나도 하지 않았다”고 말했습니다.
32 아그립바는 베스도에게 “이 사람이 황제에게 상소하지 않았다면, 지금 석방될 수도 있었을 텐데”라고 말했습니다.

24 Suddenly, Festus shouted, "Paul, you are insane. Too much study has made you crazy!"
25 But Paul replied, "I am not insane, Most Excellent Festus. What I am saying is the sober truth.
26 And King Agrippa knows about these things. I speak boldly, for I am sure these events are all familiar to him, for they were not done in a corner!
27 King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do?"
26:28 Agrippa interrupted him. "Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian so quickly?"① / ①Or "A little more, and your arguments would make me a Christian."
29 Paul replied, "Whether quickly or not, I pray to God that both you and everyone here in this audience might become the same as I am, except for these chains."
30 Then the king, the governor, Bernice, and all the others stood and left.
31 As they went out, they talked it over and agreed, "This man hasn't done anything to deserve death or imprisonment."
32 And Agrippa said to Festus, "He could have been set free if he hadn't appealed to Caesar."
