성경말씀: 사도행전 15:1-6

1 어떤 사람들이 유대에서 안디옥으로 와서 이방인 형제들에게 “모세가 가르친 풍습대로 할례를 받지 않으면 여러분은 구원 받을 수 없습니다”라고 가르치기 시작했습니다.
2 이 사건 때문에 바울과 바나바와 그들 사이에 격렬한 충돌과 논쟁이 발생했습니다. 그래서 안디옥 교회는 바울과 바나바와 다른 몇 사람을 예루살렘으로 올라가게 해서, 사도들과 장로들이 이 문제를 어떻게 생각하는지 알아보게 하였습니다.

5 그런데 바리새파에 속해 있다가 신자가 된 사람들 중에 “이방인들도 할례를 받아야 하며, 모세의 율법을 지켜야 합니다”라고 주장하는 사람들이 있었습니다.
6 사도들과 장로들이 이 문제를 의논하러 모였습니다.

1 While Paul and Barnabas were at Antioch of Syria, some men from Judea arrived and began to teach the believers： "Unless you are circumcised as required by the law of Moses, you cannot be saved."
2 Paul and Barnabas disagreed with them, arguing vehemently. Finally, the church decided to send Paul and Barnabas to Jerusalem, accompanied by some local believers, to talk to the apostles and elders about this question.
3 The church sent the delegates to Jerusalem, and they stopped along the way in Phoenicia and Samaria to visit the believers. They told them—much to everyone’s joy—that the Gentiles, too, were being converted.
4 When they arrived in Jerusalem, Barnabas and Paul were welcomed by the whole church, including the apostles and elders. They reported everything God had done through them.
5 But then some of the believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees stood up and insisted, "The Gentile converts must be circumcised and required to follow the law of Moses."
6 So the apostles and elders met together to resolve this issue.

성경말씀: 사도행전 11:19-26

19 스데반의 일로 발생한 박해 때문에 많은 신자들이 흩어졌습니다. 그들은 베니게와 키프로스와 안디옥까지 피해 가서는 오직 유대인에게만 말씀을 전했습니다.
20 그들 중에는 키프로스와 구레네 출신 사람이 있었는데, 이들은 안디옥에 이르러 그리스 사람들에게도 주 예수님에 관한 복음을 전했습니다.
21 주님의 손길이 그들과 함께 하셨으므로, 많은 사람들이 믿고 주님께로 돌아왔습니다.

25 바나바는 사울을 찾으러 다소로 갔습니다.
26 사울을 찾은 바나바는 사울을 안디옥으로 데려왔습니다. 두 사람은 일 년 동안, 교회에 머물면서 많은 사람을 가르쳤습니다. 제자들은 안디옥에서 처음으로 ‘그리스도인’이라고 불렸습니다.

19 Meanwhile, the believers who had been scattered during the persecution after Stephen's death traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch of Syria. They preached the word of God, but only to Jews.
20 However, some of the believers who went to Antioch from Cyprus and Cyrene began preaching to the Gentiles① about the Lord Jesus. / ①Greek the Hellenists (i.e., those who speak Greek); other manuscripts read the Greeks
21 The power of the Lord was with them, and a large number of these Gentiles believed and turned to the Lord.
22 When the church at Jerusalem heard what had happened, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
23 When he arrived and saw this evidence of God's blessing, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord.
24 Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and strong in faith. And many people were brought to the Lord.
25 Then Barnabas went on to Tarsus to look for Saul.
26 When he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. Both of them stayed there with the church for a full year, teaching large crowds of people. (It was at Antioch that the believers① were first called Christians.) / ①Greek disciples; also in 11.29

1 Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord's followers①. So he went to the high priest. / ①Greek disciples
2 He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the Way he found there. He wanted to bring them?both men and women?back to Jerusalem in chains.
3 As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him.
4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?"
5 "Who are you, lord?" Saul asked And the voice replied, "I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting!
6 Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."
7 The men with Saul stood speechless, for they heard the sound of someone's voice but saw no one!
8 Saul picked himself up off the ground, but when he opened his eyes he was blind. So his companions led him by the hand to Damascus.
9 He remained there blind for three days and did not eat or drink.
15 But the Lord said, "Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel.
16 And I will show him how much he must suffer for my name's sake."

성경말씀: 사도행전 2:42-47

42 사람들은 사도들의 가르침을 받으며 서로 교제하고, 빵을 나누어 먹고 기도하는 일에 힘썼습니다.
43 사도들을 통해 많은 기적과 표적이 나타났습니다. 그러자 모든 사람들에게 두려운 마음이 생겼습니다.
44 믿는 사람들은 다 함께 모여 모든 물건을 공동으로 사용하며 살아갔습니다.
45 그들은 재산과 모든 소유를 팔아서 필요한 사람들에게 나누어 주었습니다.
46 그들은 날마다 한마음으로 성전 뜰에 모였습니다. 그리고 집집마다 돌아가며 함께 모여 기쁘고 순수한 마음으로 식사를 같이 하였습니다.
47 그들은 하나님을 찬양하였으며, 모든 사람에게서 칭찬을 받았습니다. 주님께서는 구원 받는 사람을 날마다 늘어나게 하셨습니다.

42 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper①), and to prayer. / ①Greek the breaking of bread; also in 2.46
43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.
44 And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.
45 They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need.
46 They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity①－ / ①Or and sincere hearts
47 all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

성경말씀: 사도행전 3:1-10

1 어느 날 오후 3시, 기도하는 시간이 되어 베드로와 요한이 성전으로 올라가고 있었습니다.
2 성전 문에는 태어날 때부터 걷지 못하는 사람이 앉아 있었습니다. 사람들이 그 사람을 날마다 메고 와서 ‘아름다운 문’이라 부르는 성전 문에 앉혀 놓고, 성전에 들어가는 사람들에게 구걸을 하게 하였습니다.
3 베드로와 요한이 막 성전으로 들어가려는 것을 보고, 걷지 못하는 사람은 그들에게 구걸을 하였습니다.
4 베드로는 요한과 함께 그 사람을 눈 여겨 본 후에, “우리를 보시오”라고 말했습니다.
5 그 걷지 못하는 사람은 무언가 얻을 것을 기대하면서 두 사람을 쳐다보았습니다.
6 그러나 베드로는 이런 말을 하였습니다. “은과 금은 내게 없으나, 내게 있는 것을 당신에게 주겠소. 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 일어나 걸으시오.”
7 이 말을 하면서 베드로는 그 사람의 오른손을 잡아 일으켜 세웠습니다. 그러자 그 사람의 다리와 발목에 힘이 생겼습니다.
8 그 걷지 못하던 사람이 벌떡 일어나 걷기 시작하였습니다. 그는 두 사람과 함께 성전으로 들어가 걷기도 하고, 껑충껑충 뛰기도 하면서, 하나님을 찬양하였습니다.
9 모든 사람이 걷지 못하던 사람이 걸어 다니는 것과 하나님을 찬양하는 것을 보았습니다.
10 사람들은 그가 전부터 성전의 ‘아름다운 문’에 앉아 구걸하던 바로 그 사람이라는 것을 알고서, 눈앞에서 벌어진 이 일로 인해 크게 놀라며 이상하게 생각했습니다.

1 Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o'clock prayer service.
2 As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple.
3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money.
4 Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, "Look at us!"
5 The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money.
6 But Peter said, "I don't have any silver or gold for you. But I'll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene①, get up and② walk!" / ①Or Jesus Christ of Nazareth ②Some manuscripts omit get up and
7 Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man's feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened.
8 He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.
9 All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God.
10 When they realized he was the lame beggar they had seen so often at the Beautiful Gate, they were absolutely astounded!
