성경말씀: 마가복음 15:1-15

1 이른 아침에 대제사장들이 장로들, 율법학자, 그리고 모든 유대 의회원들과 함께 회의를 하였습니다. 이들은 예수님을 묶고, 끌고 가서 빌라도에게 넘겼습니다.
2 빌라도가 예수님께 물었습니다. “당신이 유대인의 왕이오?” 예수님께서 대답하셨습니다. “네가 말한 대로다.”
3 대제사장들이 여러 가지 말로 예수님을 고발했습니다.
4 빌라도가 예수님께 다시 질문했습니다. “아무 대답이 없소? 이 사람들이 당신에게 여러 가지로 고발을 하는 것을 보시오.”
5 그러나 예수님께서는 더 이상 대답을 하지 않으셨습니다. 빌라도가 이것을 보고 매우 놀랐습니다.
6 명절 때마다, 빌라도는 사람들이 요청하는 죄수 한 명을 풀어 주곤 했습니다.
7 바라바라고 하는 사람이, 폭동이 일어났을 때, 살인을 저지른 폭도들과 함께 감옥에 있었습니다.
8 사람들이 빌라도에게 와서 지금까지 그랬던 것처럼, 죄수 한 명을 풀어 달라고 요청했습니다.
9 빌라도가 그들에게 물었습니다. “유대인의 왕을 놓아 주기를 바라느냐?”
10 빌라도는 대제사장들이 예수님을 시기해서 자기에게 넘긴 것을 알았던 것입니다.
11 대제사장들은 사람들을 선동하여 예수님 대신 바라바를 풀어 달라고 요청하게 했습니다.
12 빌라도가 사람들에게 다시 물었습니다. “그러면 너희가 유대인의 왕이라고 부르는 이 사람은 어떻게 해야 하겠느냐?”
13 사람들이 소리쳤습니다. “십자가에 못박으시오!”
14 빌라도가 물었습니다. “어째서? 그가 무슨 잘못을 했느냐?” 하지만 사람들은 더욱더 크게 소리쳤습니다. “십자가에 못박으시오!”
15 빌라도는 사람들을 만족시키려고 바라바를 놓아 주었습니다. 그리고 예수님을 채찍질하게 하고, 십자가에 못박도록 넘겨 주었습니다.

1 Very early in the morning the leading priests, the elders, and the teachers of religious law--the entire high council① - met to discuss their next step. They bound Jesus, led him away, and took him to Pilate, the Roman governor. / ①Greek the Sanhedrin; also in 15.43
2 Pilate asked Jesus, "Are you the king of the Jews?" Jesus replied, "You have said it."
3 Then the leading priests kept accusing him of many crimes,
4 and Pilate asked him, "Aren't you going to answer them? What about all these charges they are bringing against you?"
5 But Jesus said nothing, much to Pilate's surprise.
6 Now it was the governor's custom each year during the Passover celebration to release one prisoner--anyone the people requested.
7 One of the prisoners at that time was Barabbas, a revolutionary who had committed murder in an uprising.
8 The crowd went to Pilate and asked him to release a prisoner as usual.
9 "Would you like me to release to you this `King of the Jews'?" Pilate asked.
10 (For he realized by now that the leading priests had arrested Jesus out of envy.)
11 But at this point the leading priests stirred up the crowd to demand the release of Barabbas instead of Jesus.
12 Pilate asked them, "Then what should I do with this man you call the king of the Jews?"
13 They shouted back, "Crucify him!"
14 "Why?" Pilate demanded. "What crime has he committed?" But the mob roared even louder, "Crucify him!"
15 So to pacify the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He ordered Jesus flogged with a lead-tipped whip, then turned him over to the Roman soldiers to be crucified.

성경말씀: 고린도전서 2:9-14

9 성경에 이렇게 기록되어 있습니다. “하나님께서 자기를 사랑하는 자들을 위해 준비해 두신 것을 눈으로 보지 못하였고, 귀로 듣지 못하였으며, 마음으로 깨닫지 못하였다.”
10 하나님께서는 성령을 통하여 이 지혜를 우리에게 계시하셨습니다. 왜냐하면 성령님께서 모든 것을, 심지어 하나님의 깊은 것까지도 속속들이 살피시기 때문입니다.
11 어떤 사람이 생각하고 있는 것을 그 사람 속에 있는 영이 아니고서야 누가 알 수 있겠습니까? 이와 마찬가지로 하나님의 생각도 하나님의 성령만이 아실 수 있습니다.
12 하나님께서 우리에게 은혜로 주신 것들을 알기 위해 우리는 세상의 영이 아니라 하나님께로부터 오는 성령을 받았습니다.
13 우리는 사람의 지혜에서 배운 말로 말하지 않고 성령으로부터 가르침받은 말씀으로 말합니다. 성령님께 속한 것은 성령에 속한 것으로 설명해야 하기 때문입니다.
14 성령에 속하지 않은 사람은 하나님의 성령에 속한 것들을 받아들이지 않습니다. 그런 사람에게는 이런 것들이 어리석어 보입니다. 그런 것들은 영적으로 식별되는 것이므로 성령이 없는 사람은 그런 것들을 깨달을 수도 없습니다.

9 That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."① / ①Isa 64.4
10 But① it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God's deep secrets. / ①Some manuscripts read For
11 No one can know a person's thoughts except that person's own spirit, and no one can know God's thoughts except God's own Spirit.
12 And we have received God's Spirit (not the world's spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.
13 When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths①. / ①Or explaining spiritual truths in spiritual language, or explaining spiritual truths to spiritual people
14 But people who aren't spiritual① can't receive these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can't understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means. / ①Or who don't have the Spirit; or who have only physical life

성경말씀: 요한복음 5:11-18

11 대답하되 나를 낫게 한 그가 자리를 들고 걸어가라 하더라 하니 
12 그들이 묻되 너에게 자리를 들고 걸어가라 한 사람이 누구냐 하되 
13 고침을 받은 사람은 그가 누구인지 알지 못하니 이는 거기 사람이 많으므로 예수께서 이미 피하셨음이라 
14 그 후에 예수께서 성전에서 그 사람을 만나 이르시되 보라 네가 나았으니 더 심한 것이 생기지 않게 다시는 죄를 범하지 말라 하시니 
15 그 사람이 유대인들에게 가서 자기를 고친 이는 예수라 하니라 
16 그러므로 안식일에 이러한 일을 행하신다 하여 유대인들이 예수를 박해하게 된지라 
17 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 내 아버지께서 이제까지 일하시니 나도 일한다 하시매 
18 유대인들이 이로 말미암아 더욱 예수를 죽이고자 하니 이는 안식일을 범할 뿐만 아니라 하나님을 자기의 친 아버지라 하여 자기를 하나님과 동등으로 삼으심이러라

11 But he replied, "The man who healed me told me, `Pick up your mat and walk.'"
12 "Who said such a thing as that?" they demanded.
13 The man didn't know, for Jesus had disappeared into the crowd.
14 But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and told him, "Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you."
15 Then the man went and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had healed him.
16 So the Jewish leaders began harassing① Jesus for breaking the Sabbath rules. / ①Or persecuting
17 But Jesus replied, "My Father is always working, and so am I."
18 So the Jewish leaders tried all the harder to find a way to kill him. For he not only broke the Sabbath, he called God his Father, thereby making himself equal with God.

성경말씀: 사도행전 2:14-18

14 베드로가 열한 명의 사도와 함께 일어서서, 군중을 향해 큰소리로 말했습니다. “유대 사람들, 그리고 예루살렘에 사는 모든 주민 여러분, 이 일을 여러분께 설명해 드리겠습니다. 내가 하는 말에 귀를 기울여 주십시오.
15 지금은 아침 9시밖에 되지 않았으니, 이 사람들은 여러분이 생각하는 것처럼 술에 취한 것이 아닙니다.
16 오늘 일어난 일은 바로 요엘 예언자가 예언했던 대로 이루어진 것입니다.
17 하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. ‘마지막 날에, 내가 내 영을 모든 사람에게 부어 주겠다. 너희의 아들과 딸들은 예언할 것이요, 너희의 젊은이들은 환상을 볼 것이요, 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꿀 것이다.
18 그 날에 내 남자 종들과 여자 종들에게까지 내 영을 부어 주겠다. 그러면 그들은 예언할 것이다.

14 Then Peter stepped forward with the eleven other apostles and shouted to the crowd, "Listen carefully, all of you, fellow Jews and residents of Jerusalem! Make no mistake about this.
15 These people are not drunk, as some of you are assuming. Nine o'clock in the morning is much too early for that.
16 No, what you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel.
17 `In the last days,' God says, `I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
18 In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants－men and women alike－ and they will prophesy.

성경말씀: 사도행전 2:1-13

1 오순절이 되어 제자들이 한 곳에 모두 모였습니다.
2 그 때, 갑자기 하늘에서 세찬 바람 소리 같은 것이 나더니, 사람들이 앉아 있던 집안을 가득 채웠습니다.
3 그리고 혀처럼 생긴 불꽃이 사람들 눈앞에 나타났습니다. 그 불꽃은 여러 갈래로 갈라져 그 곳에 모인 한 사람 한 사람 위에 머물렀습니다.
4 사람들은 다 성령으로 충만해졌습니다. 그리고는 성령께서 말하게 하시는 대로 자기들의 언어와 다른 외국어로 말하기 시작했습니다.
5 예루살렘에는 세계 각 나라에서 온 경건한 유대인들이 머물고 있었습니다.
6 이 말소리가 나자, 많은 군중들이 모여들었습니다. 그들은 믿는 사람들이 자기네 나라 말로 말하는 것을 듣고는 모두 놀랐습니다.
7 군중들은 너무나 놀라 이상히 여기며 말했습니다. “보시오! 말을 하는 이 사람들은 모두 갈릴리 사람들이 아닙니까?
8 그런데 우리가, 이 사람들이 저마다 우리가 사는 지방 말을 하는 것을 듣게 되니, 이것이 도대체 어찌된 일입니까?
9 우리는 바대와 메대와 엘람과 메소포타미아와 유대와 갑바도기아와 본도와 아시아와
10 브루기아와 밤빌리아와 이집트와 구레네에서 가까운 리비아 여러 지방과 로마와
11 날 때부터 유대인인 사람과 유대교로 개종한 사람과 크레타와 아라비아에서 온 사람들인데, 우리는 이 사람들이 하나님께서 행하신 크신 일을 우리 말로 말하는 것을 듣고 있습니다.”
12 사람들은 모두 놀라 어리둥절했습니다. 다만 서로 얼굴을 쳐다보며 “이게 도대체 어떻게 된 일이지요?”라고 말할 뿐이었습니다.
13 그러나 사람들 중에는 “저 사람들이 술을 너무 많이 마셨다” 하며 놀려 대는 사람도 있었습니다.

1 On the day of Pentecost① all the believers were meeting together in one place. / ①The Festival of Pentecost came 50 days after Passover (when Jesus was crucified)
2 Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.
3 Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them.
4 And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages①, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. / ①Or in other tongues
5 At that time there were devout Jews from every nation living in Jerusalem.
6 When they heard the loud noise, everyone came running, and they were bewildered to hear their own languages being spoken by the believers.
7 They were completely amazed. "How can this be?" they exclaimed. "These people are all from Galilee,
8 and yet we hear them speaking in our own native languages!
9 Here we are- Parthians, Medes, Elamites, people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, the province of Asia,
10 Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, and the areas of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome
11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism), Cretans, and Arabs. And we all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!"
12 They stood there amazed and perplexed. "What can this mean?" they asked each other.
13 But others in the crowd ridiculed them, saying, "They're just drunk, that's all!"
