성경말씀: 요한복음 12:12-25

12 다음 날, 유월절을 지키러 온 많은 무리들은 예수님께서 예루살렘으로 오신다는 소식을 들었습니다.
13 그들은 손에 종려나무 가지를 들고 예수님을 맞으러 나갔습니다. 그리고 외쳤습니다. “호산나! 주님의 이름으로 오시는 자에게 복이 있을 것이다. 이스라엘의 왕에게 복이 있을 것이다.”
14 예수님께서는 어린 나귀를 발견하시고는, 성경에 기록된 대로 그 위에 타셨습니다.
15 “시온의 딸아, 두려워하지 마라! 보아라, 너의 왕이 오신다. 그분은 어린 나귀를 타셨다.”
16 예수님의 제자들은 처음에 이 말씀을 깨닫지 못했습니다. 그러나 예수님께서 영광을 받으신 뒤에야 비로소 이 말씀이 예수님에 관해 기록된 것이라는 사실과 사람들이 예수님께 이렇게 하였다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.
17 예수님께서 나사로를 무덤 밖으로 불러 내시고 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살리실 때, 예수님과 함께 있던 많은 군중들은 계속해서 예수님께서 행하신 일을 증언하였습니다.
18 이처럼 많은 사람이 예수님께서 행하신 이 표적에 대한 소문을 들었기 때문에 예수님을 맞으러 나왔던 것입니다.
19 그래서 바리새인들은 자기들끼리 이렇게 말했습니다. “보시다시피 우리 계획은 하나도 성공을 거두지 못했습니다. 온 세상이 저 사람을 따르고 있지 않습니까!”
20 유월절에 예배 드리기 위해 예루살렘에 온 사람들 중에 그리스 사람들이 더러 있었습니다.
21 이 사람들이 갈릴리 벳새다 출신인 빌립에게 와서 요청했습니다. “선생님, 우리가 예수님을 뵙고 싶습니다.”
22 빌립이 안드레에게 가서 말하였고, 안드레와 빌립은 다시 예수님께 그 말을 전했습니다.
23 예수님께서 그들에게 대답하셨습니다. “인자가 영광을 받을 때가 왔다.
24 내가 너희에게 진리를 말한다. 밀알이 땅에 떨어져 죽지 않으면 한 알 그대로 있지만, 죽으면 많은 열매를 맺는 법이다.
25 자기 목숨을 사랑하는 사람은 목숨을 잃을 것이지만 이 세상에서 자기 목숨을 미워하는 사람은 영원히 목숨을 보존할 것이다."

12 The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors
13 took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted, "Praise God!① Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Hail to the King of Israel!"② / ①Greek Hosanna, an exclamation of praise adapted from a Hebrew expression that means "save now." ②Ps 118.25-26; Zeph 3.15
14 Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it, fulfilling the prophecy that said.
15 "Don't be afraid, people of Jerusalem①. Look, your King is coming, riding on a donkey's colt."② / ①Greek daughter of Zion ②Zech 9.9
16 His disciples didn't understand at the time that this was a fulfillment of prophecy. But after Jesus entered into his glory, they remembered what had happened and realized that these things had been written about him.
17 Many in the crowd had seen Jesus call Lazarus from the tomb, raising him from the dead, and they were telling others① about it. / ①Greek were testifying
18 That was the reason so many went out to meet him?because they had heard about this miraculous sign.
19 Then the Pharisees said to each other, "There's nothing we can do. Look, everyone① has gone after him!" / ①Greek the world
20 Some Greeks who had come to Jerusalem for the Passover celebration
21 paid a visit to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee. They said, "Sir, we want to meet Jesus."
22 Philip told Andrew about it, and they went together to ask Jesus.
23 Jesus replied, "Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory.
24 I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels?a plentiful harvest of new lives.
25 Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity."

성경말씀: 마가복음 14:43-52

43 예수님께서 아직 말씀하고 계실 때, 열 두 제자 가운데 한 사람인 유다가 다가왔습니다. 대제사장들과 율법학자들과 장로들이 보낸 많은 무리들이 칼과 몽둥이를 들고 유다와 함께 왔습니다.
44 예수님을 넘겨 주는 자가 사람들과 신호를 정했습니다. “내가 입맞추는 사람이 바로 그 사람이니, 체포하여 데리고 가시오.”
45 유다가 예수님께 와서 “선생님!”이라고 말하면서 입을 맞추었습니다.
46 그러자 그들이 예수님에게 손을 대어 체포했습니다.
47 그러나 곁에 있던 사람 가운데 한 명이 칼을 뽑아, 대제사장의 종을 내리쳐 귀를 잘랐습니다.
48 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “마치 강도를 잡는 것처럼, 나를 잡으려고 칼과 몽둥이를 가지고 왔느냐?
49 내가 매일 성전에서 너희들과 함께 있으면서 가르칠 때에는 너희가 나를 잡지 않았다. 그러나 일어난 이 모든 것은 성경을 이루려고 일어난 것이다.”
50 예수님의 제자들이 모두 예수님을 떠나 도망갔습니다.
51 어떤 젊은 사람이 맨몸에 홑이불을 걸친 채 예수님을 따라가고 있었습니다. 사람들이 그를 잡았습니다.
52 그러자 홑이불을 벗어 던진 채, 벌거벗고 도망쳤습니다.

43 And immediately, even as Jesus said this, Judas, one of the twelve disciples, arrived with a crowd of men armed with swords and clubs. They had been sent by the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the elders.
44 The traitor, Judas, had given them a prearranged signal： "You will know which one to arrest when I greet him with a kiss. Then you can take him away under guard."
45 As soon as they arrived, Judas walked up to Jesus. "Rabbi!" he exclaimed, and gave him the kiss.
46 Then the others grabbed Jesus and arrested him.
47 But one of the men with Jesus pulled out his sword and struck the high priest's slave, slashing off his ear.
48 Jesus asked them, "Am I some dangerous revolutionary, that you come with swords and clubs to arrest me?
49 Why didn't you arrest me in the Temple? I was there among you teaching every day. But these things are happening to fulfill what the Scriptures say about me."
50 Then all his disciples deserted him and ran away.
51 One young man following behind was clothed only in a long linen shirt. When the mob tried to grab him,
52 he slipped out of his shirt and ran away naked.

성경말씀: 마가복음 14:32-42

32 예수님과 제자들이 겟세마네라고 하는 곳으로 갔습니다. 예수님께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 기도하는 동안에 여기 앉아 있어라.”
33 예수님께서는 베드로와 야고보 그리고 요한을 데리고 가셨습니다. 예수님께서는 매우 근심하며 괴로워하셨습니다.
34 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “내 영혼이 심히 괴로워 죽을 지경이다. 여기서 머무르면서 깨어 있어라.”
35 예수님께서 조금 더 가셔서 땅에 엎드리셨습니다. 그리고 할 수만 있다면, 그 때가 지나가 버리기를 기도하셨습니다.
36 예수님께서 기도하셨습니다. “아바, 아버지! 아버지께서는 모든 것을 하실 수 있으시니, 이 잔을 없애 주십시오. 그러나 제 뜻대로 하지 마시고 아버지의 뜻대로 하십시오.”
37 예수님께서 제자들에게 오셔서 자고 있는 것을 보시고, 베드로에게 말씀하셨습니다. “시몬아, 자고 있느냐? 나와 함께 한 시간도 깨어 있을 수 없더냐?
38 시험에 들지 않도록 깨어서 기도하여라. 영은 원하지만, 몸이 연약하구나.”
39 다시 예수님께서 제자들을 떠나서 같은 말씀으로 기도하셨습니다.
40 그리고 다시 제자들에게 오셔서 자고 있는 모습을 보셨습니다. 그것은 제자들이 너무 졸렸기 때문입니다. 제자들은 예수님께 무슨 말을 해야 할지 몰랐습니다.
41 세 번째 예수님께서 오셔서 말씀하셨습니다. “아직도 자고 있느냐? 아직도 쉬고 있느냐? 그만하면 됐다! 이제 시간이 되었다. 보아라! 인자가 죄인들의 손에 넘겨진다.
42 일어나자! 가자! 보아라! 나를 넘겨 줄 사람이 가까이에 와 있다.”

32 They went to the olive grove called Gethsemane, and Jesus said, "Sit here while I go and pray."
33 He took Peter, James, and John with him, and he became deeply troubled and distressed.
34 He told them, "My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me."
35 He went on a little farther and fell to the ground. He prayed that, if it were possible, the awful hour awaiting him might pass him by.
36 "Abba, Father,"① he cried out, "everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine." / ①Abba is an Aramaic term for "father"
37 Then he returned and found the disciples asleep. He said to Peter, "Simon, are you asleep? Couldn't you watch with me even one hour?
38 Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
39 Then Jesus left them again and prayed the same prayer as before.
40 When he returned to them again, he found them sleeping, for they couldn't keep their eyes open. And they didn't know what to say.
41 When he returned to them the third time, he said, "Go ahead and sleep. Have your rest. But no?the time has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
42 Up, let's be going. Look, my betrayer is here!"

성경말씀: 마가복음 14:22-31

22 식사를 하는 동안, 예수님께서는 빵을 들고 감사 기도를 드리셨습니다. 그리고 떼어서 제자들에게 주시며 말씀하셨습니다. “받아라. 이것은 나의 몸이다.”
23 또 잔을 들고 감사 기도를 드리셨습니다. 그리고 제자들에게 잔을 주어, 제자들이 마셨습니다.
24 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “이것은 많은 사람들을 위해 쏟는 나의 피, 곧 언약의 피다.
25 내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 내가 하나님 나라에서 새 것으로 마실 그 날이 올 때까지는 결코 다시 포도나무에서 난 것을 마시지 않을 것이다.”
26 예수님과 제자들은 찬송을 부른 뒤, 올리브 산으로 올라갔습니다.
27 예수님께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨습니다. “너희는 모두 나를 버릴 것이다. 성경에 이렇게 쓰여 있다. ‘내가 목자를 치리니, 양들은 흩어질 것이다.’
28 그러나 내가 살아난 후, 너희보다 먼저 갈릴리로 갈 것이다.”
29 베드로가 말했습니다. “모두가 버릴지라도 저는 그렇지 않을 것입니다.”
30 예수님께서 대답하셨습니다. “내가 너에게 진정으로 말한다. 오늘 밤 닭이 두 번 울기 전에, 네가 나를 모른다고 세 번 말할 것이다.”
31 베드로는 강조하여 말했습니다. “주님과 함께 죽을지언정, 결코 모른다고 하지 않을 것입니다!” 다른 모든 제자들도 같은 말을 했습니다.

22 As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, "Take it, for this is my body."
23 And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
24 And he said to them, "This is my blood, which confirms the covenant① between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice for many. / ①Some manuscripts read the new covenant
25 I tell you the truth, I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new in the Kingdom of God."
26 Then they sang a hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.
27 On the way, Jesus told them, "All of you will desert me. For the Scriptures say, `God will strike① the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.' / ①Greek I will strike. Zech 13.7
28 But after I am raised from the dead, I will go ahead of you to Galilee and meet you there."
29 Peter said to him, "Even if everyone else deserts you, I never will."
30 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, Peter—this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny three times that you even know me."
31 "No!" Peter declared emphatically. "Even if I have to die with you, I will never deny you!" And all the others vowed the same.

12 무교절의 첫 번째 날, 즉 유월절 양을 잡는 날에 제자들이 예수님께 여쭈었습니다. “유월절 음식을 어디에 가서 준비할까요?”
13 예수님께서 제자들 가운데서 두 명을 보내시면서 말씀하셨습니다. “성으로 들어가거라. 물병을 든 사람을 만나면 그를 따라가거라.
14 그가 들어가는 집의 주인에게 ‘선생님께서 제자들과 함께 유월절 음식을 먹을 수 있는 방이 어디냐고 물으십니다’라고 하여라.
15 그러면 집주인이 너희에게 준비된 커다란 다락방을 보여 줄 것이다. 그 곳에서 음식을 준비하여라.”
16 제자들이 떠나서, 성으로 들어갔습니다. 예수님께서 말씀하신 그대로였습니다. 그래서 유월절을 준비했습니다.
17 저녁이 되자, 예수님께서 열두 제자들과 함께 그 집으로 가셨습니다.
18 식사를 하는 동안, 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 진정으로 말한다. 나와 함께 음식을 먹고 있는 너희 가운데 한 사람이 나를 배반할 것이다.”
19 제자들이 근심하면서 한 사람씩 예수님께 말했습니다. “설마 제가 그 사람입니까?”
20 예수님께서 대답하셨습니다. “열두 제자 가운데 한 사람이며, 나와 함께 그릇에 손을 넣는 사람이다.
21 인자는 성경에 기록된 대로 죽지만, 인자를 넘겨 주는 사람에게는 화가 있다. 그 사람은 차라리 태어나지 않았더라면, 자신에게 더 좋았을 것이다.”

12 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb is sacrificed, Jesus' disciples asked him, "Where do you want us to go to prepare the Passover meal for you?"
13 So Jesus sent two of them into Jerusalem with these instructions： "As you go into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him.
14 At the house he enters, say to the owner, `The Teacher asks： Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?'
15 He will take you upstairs to a large room that is already set up. That is where you should prepare our meal."
16 So the two disciples went into the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover meal there.
17 In the evening Jesus arrived with the twelve disciples.
18 As they were at the table① eating, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, one of you eating with me here will betray me." / ①Or As they reclined
19 Greatly distressed, each one asked in turn, "Am I the one?"
20 He replied, "It is one of you twelve who is eating from this bowl with me.
21 For the Son of Man must die, as the Scriptures declared long ago. But how terrible it will be for the one who betrays him. It would be far better for that man if he had never been born!"
