성경말씀: 히브리서1:1~7

1 옛날에 하나님께서는 여러 예언자들을 통해 여러 차례, 여러 방법으로 우리 조상들에게 말씀하셨지만, 2 이 마지막 시대에 이르러서는, 자기 아들을 통해 우리에게 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 그 아들을 만물의 상속자로 세우시고, 그 아들을 통해 온 세상을 창조하셨습니다.3 그 아들은 하나님의 영광의 광채이시고, 하나님의 본체 그대로의 모습이십니다. 또한 그 아들은 자신의 능력 있는 말씀으로 만물을 굳게 붙들어 보존하시고, 우리의 모든 죄를 깨끗이 씻어 주신 후에, 하늘에 오르셔서 높은 곳에 계신 존엄하신 하나님의 오른편에 앉으셨습니다.4 ○ 그리하여 그 아들은 모든 천사들보다 훨씬 뛰어난 분이 되셨으니, 곧 천사들과는 비교조차 할 수 없는 빼어난 이름을 물려받았습니다. 5 사실, 하나님께서는 어느 천사에게도 “너는 내 아들이다. 오늘날 내가 너를 낳았다.” 하고 말씀하신 적이 없고, 또는 “나는 그의 아버지가 되고, 그는 나의 아들이 될 것이다.” 하고 말씀하신 적도 없습니다. 6 그러나 하나님께서 그 아들 곧 자기 맏아들을 이 세상에 보내실 때에는 “하나님의 천사들은 모두 그에게 경배하라.” 하고 말씀하셨습니다. 7 또 천사들을 두고는 성경에 기록되기를 “하나님께서는 자기 천사들을 바람처럼 부리시고, 자기 일꾼들을 불꽃으로 삼으신다.”라고 하였습니다.(쉬운말성경)

1 Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. 2 And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. 3 The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. 4 This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.5 For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus:“You are my Son.
    Today I have become your Father.[a]” God also said, “I will be his Father,
    and he will be my Son.”6 And when he brought his supreme[c] Son into the world, God said, “Let all of God’s angels worship him.”7 Regarding the angels, he says, “He sends his angels like the winds, his servants like flames of fire.”(New Living Translation)

성경말씀: 마가복음 1:1-8

1 하나님의 아들이신 예수 그리스도의 복음은 이렇게 시작되었습니다. 2 이사야 예언자의 글에 이렇게 쓰여 있습니다. “보아라. 내가 네 앞에 사자를 보낸다. 그가 네 길을 준비할 것이다.” 3 “광야에서 외치는 자의 목소리가 들린다. ‘주님의 길을 준비하여라. 그분의 길을 곧게 펴라.’” 4 세례자 요한이 광야에 나타나서 죄 용서를 위한 회개의 세례를 선포하였습니다. 5 그래서 온 유대 지방 사람들과 예루살렘 사람들이 요한에게 나아갔습니다. 그들은 자신들이 지은 죄를 고백하고, 요단 강에서 요한에게 세례를 받았습니다. 6 요한은 낙타 털로 만든 옷을 입고, 허리에는 가죽띠를 띠고, 메뚜기와 들꿀을 먹었습니다. 7 요한은 사람들에게 이렇게 선포하였습니다. “나보다 더 강하신 분이 내 뒤에 오신다. 나는 그분 앞에 꿇어앉아 그분의 신발 끈을 풀기에도 부족하다. 8 나는 너희에게 물로 세례를 주지만 그분은 너희에게 성령으로 세례를 베푸실 것이다.” (쉬운 성경)

1 This is the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God. It began 2 just as the prophet Isaiah had written： "Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way①. / ①Mal 3.1 3 He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, `Prepare the way for the LORD's coming! Clear the road for him!'①" / ①Isa 40.3 (Greek version) 4 This messenger was John the Baptist. He was in the wilderness and preached that people should be baptized to show that they had repented of their sins and turned to God to be forgiven. 5 All of Judea, including all the people of Jerusalem, went out to see and hear John. And when they confessed their sins, he baptized them in the Jordan River. 6 His clothes were woven from coarse camel hair, and he wore a leather belt around his waist. For food he ate locusts and wild honey. 7 John announced： "Someone is coming soon who is greater than I am - so much greater that I'm not even worthy to stoop down like a slave and untie the straps of his sandals. 8 I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit!" 로마서 13:11~14

11 <그리스도의 날이 다가옴> 이런 행동을 해야 하는 것은, 여러분도 알고 있다시피 벌써 잠에서 깨어날 때가 되었기 때문입니다. 이제 우리의 구원이 처음 믿었을 때보다 더 가까워졌습니다. 12 밤이 거의 다 지나 낮이 가까웠습니다. 그러므로 어둠의 행실을 벗어 버리고, 빛의 갑옷을 입읍시다. 13 낮에 활동하는 사람처럼 단정히 행동합시다. 난잡한 유흥을 즐기지 말고, 술 취하지 마십시오. 성적으로 문란하거나 퇴폐적인 생활을 버리십시오. 다투지 말고 질투하지 마십시오. 14 주 예수 그리스도로 옷 입으십시오. 죄의 본성이 바라는 정욕을 만족시키는 생각을 하지 마십시오.(쉬운성경)

 

 

11 This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. 13 Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy.14 Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. 11 As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. 12 As he entered a village there, ten lepers stood at a distance, 13 crying out, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" 14 He looked at them and said, "Go show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. 15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, "Praise God!" 16 He fell to the ground at Jesus' feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. 17 Jesus asked, "Didn't I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" 19 And Jesus said to the man, "Stand up and go. 14:13 <오천 명을 먹이심> 예수님께서 이 소식을 들으시고, 그 곳을 떠나 배를 타고 혼자 조용한 곳으로 가셨습니다. 그러나 여러 마을에서 사람들이 이 사실을 전해 듣고, 걸어서 예수님을 따라왔습니다.14 예수님께서 배에서 내려 많은 사람들이 모여 있는 것을 보셨습니다. 예수님께서는 그들을 불쌍히 여기시고 병든 사람들을 고쳐 주셨습니다.15 저녁이 되자, 제자들이 예수님께 와서 말했습니다. “이 곳은 외딴 곳이고, 시간도 너무 늦었습니다. 사람들을 이제 보내어, 마을에 가서 먹을 것을 각자 사도록 하는 것이 좋겠습니다.”
16 예수님께서 제자들에게 대답하셨습니다. “갈 필요가 없다. 너희가 그들에게 먹을 것을 주어라.”17 제자들이 대답했습니다. “우리가 가진 것이라고는 빵 다섯 개와 생선 두 마리뿐입니다.”18 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “그것들을 내게 가져오너라.”19 사람들을 풀밭에 앉게 하신 후, 예수님께서는 빵 다섯 개와 생선 두 마리를 손에 들고 하늘을 바라보며 감사 기도를 드리셨습니다. 그 다음에 제자들에게 그것들을 떼어 주셨고, 제자들은 그것을 사람들에게 나누어 주었습니다.20 모든 사람들이 먹고 배가 불렀습니다. 먹고 남은 조각들을 거두었더니, 열두 바구니에 가득 찼습니다. 21 먹은 사람은 약 오천 명이나 되었는데, 이는 여자와 어린이가 포함되지 않은 숫자입니다.(쉬운 성경)

 

Jesus Feeds Five Thousand

13 As soon as Jesus heard the news, he left in a boat to a remote area to be alone. But the crowds heard where he was headed and followed on foot from many towns. 14 Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15 That evening the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away so they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves.”

16 But Jesus said, “That isn’t necessary—you feed them.”

17 “But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish!” they answered.

18 “Bring them here,” he said. 19 Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people. 20 They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers. 21 About 5,000 men were fed that day, in addition to all the women and children!
